Currently the ability to exchange tokens on the DEX is limited. The ability to set limit orders or to adjust the amount to be offered for an asset would be quite helpful. As an example when selecting the XTK asset you cannot adjust how much you are willing to pay for each XTK. Toast wallet has some of these features that XUMM is missing.

Currently "advanced" features for DEX trading are available at xrptoolkit.com made by the TOWO Labs team, you can login & create orders using the XUMM app there.
The wallet is supposed to be 'simple' to avoid confusing people. I'm sure the XRPL Labs team can confirm this.
